Turn Your Holiday Challenges Into a Dream Kitchen
January 6, 2016Eye on Wood-Mode
January 20, 2016Back in December we gave you a brief “sneak peek” at our upcoming trip to KBIS 2016 in Las Vegas. The Kitchen and Bath Industry show is something we look forward to each year, and this year is no exception. Cabinets & Designs President Maria Frank will be in Las Vegas next week for the show, and we recently sat down with her to see what aspects of the show she is most looking forward to—here are her answers!
New from Wood-Mode
“I’m always looking forward to seeing what’s new from Wood-Mode,” said Maria. “They will be introducing some new things, and I like to visit their booth at KBIS and see the products up-close. This helps me choose what I want to display in the showroom, and gives me a chance to learn about the new products from Wood-Mode professionals.”
Maria continued, “And of course, with our upcoming move, I’m more excited than ever to reimagine our new showroom. I know Wood-Mode will play a big part in our new location and design!”
GE Monogram Pizza Oven
“My inbox is filling up with invitations from national manufacturers—too many to list!—inviting me to see their booth, and their new products,” said Maria. “I’m particularly interested in the GE Monogram built-in electric pizza oven. It features pre-programmed settings, and there will be live demonstrations, of course. That’s sure to be yummy!”
Best of KBIS
One of the biggest highlights of KBIS for Maria is the “Best of KBIS” awards.
“I really love the Best of [KBIS] awards—not just finding out who won, but choosing my own and guessing the winners throughout [the show],” said Maria. Making a bit of a game of it, Maria enjoys comparing her top picks to the ultimate winning roster announced by KBIS. This year, she expects trends like high-tech integrated appliances and eco-friendly design and manufacturing to make a strong showing.
“KBIS is truly one of the highlights of the year for Cabinets & Designs,” said Maria. “We’re even more excited this year, to bring back inspiration for the new showroom that we’ll open later this Spring 2016. It’s a great way to start off an exciting New Year!”
