Goodbye Halloween, Hello Holiday Season!
November 1, 2017Thanksgiving Weekend in Houston
November 15, 2017If cooking a big Thanksgiving dinner sounds like an awful lot of work, why not dine out on Thanksgiving? Some of Houston’s best restaurants remain open on Thanksgiving so you can kick back, relax, and enjoy a beautiful meal without the work or the clean-up! Here are a few of our hometown favorites serving Thanksgiving dinner in Houston.
Rainbow Lodge
Located on Ella, Rainbow Lodge is serving their traditional three-course meal on Thanksgiving Day which includes favorites like smoked duck, lump-stuffed rainbow trout, and of course roasted turkey; children’s menu also available. ($58 pp)
Quattro at The Four Seasons
The Thanksgiving Day brunch at the Four Seasons is $105 pp ($49 for children) and includes complimentary breakfast cocktails, with a selection of more than 85 dishes that include everything from sushi to your traditional turkey.
Thanksgiving to Go
Another great option for Thanksgiving is picking up dinner and dining at home. Some of our favorite Houston restaurants offer Thanksgiving take-out, such as:
- Hugo’s has a fantastic a la carte Thanksgiving take-out menu full of favorites like campechana cocktail, Chicken Enchilada Rojas, and mole cornbread. Pre-order for pickup between Monday, November 20 and Wednesday, November 23.
- Underbelly will cook your sides, desserts, and appetizers – the turkey is up to you – and orders can be placed online through Sunday, November 19.
- In addition to serving Thanksgiving dinner in-house, Brasserie du Parc is offering a to-go option as well. Place your order by Monday, November 20.
