May 14, 2014If you love Houston’s home tours, you won’t want to miss the 2014 Southern Living 2014 Showcase home in Cypress, which opens for public viewing on Thursday, May 8. The 5300 square foot home is located in Cypress, in Water’s Edge, a master planned waterfront community. Costing $1.35 million, the single-story home boasts four bedrooms and a four-car garage on a three-quarter acre lot; naturally, each bedroom has its own private bathroom and walk-in closet. We loved learning about the little details in the home from this Houston Business Journal article: natural light in the bathroom through a window in an interior wall, a digital shower that will remember your preferred water temperature, and an in-mirror TV in the bathroom are just a few of the highlights.
Southern Living’s 2014 Showcase Home is open to the viewing public from May 8 through June 15; tickets are $10 in advance, and $12 at the door. Ticket sales will benefit Operation Finally Home and HomeAid Houston.
