Turn Your Holiday Challenges Into a Dream KitchenJanuary 6, 2016
The New Year is a time for reflection and nostalgia, but it’s also a time to celebrate and move forward—and celebration is the theme for today’s blog! We are grateful to live in a wonderful city like Houston, and to have the opportunity to serve all of you. Bringing your dream homes to life is our dream, and thanks to our clients we get to live that dream each and every day.
No matter where you spend your New Year’s Eve, the Cabinets & Designs team wishes you the happiest of New Years in 2016! Here are a few celebrations in and around Houston we think look fun. Have a great time, and be safe!
For the Family
If you’re looking for family fun, Houston has a lot to offer on New Year’s Eve—and New Year’s Day! Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo runs through January 9, 2016, and the zoo will be open on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The Rockin’ New Year’s Noon Bash at the Children’s Museum of Houston is another family-favorite event—in fact, it’s the city’s longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids. You can ring in the New Year “at the stroke of noon”—complete with a ball drop!
If your kids are crazy for the aquarium, you won’t want to miss Sharkey’s New Year’s Eve. This annual celebration includes a buffet, a ball drop, and lots of contests and giveaways. Reservations are required!
If your New Year’s Eve isn’t complete without fireworks, head to CityCentre for an evening of shopping, cocktails, music, and a midnight fireworks show. Choose from a wide array of restaurants, retailers, and lounges, and enjoy a leisurely night on the town! Maybe even catch a movie at the Studio Movie Grill before the fireworks begin.
From the Cabinets & Designs family to yours—our wishes for a safe, happy holiday and a Happy New Year! Make sure you stay connected with us for all of the latest in kitchen and bath (and holiday!) news—you can find Cabinets & Designs on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Houzz.
