January 3, 2018It’s been a year of highs and lows in Houston! From hosting a Super Bowl to Hurricane Harvey to the Astros winning the World Series there is no doubt that 2017 was a dramatic one. As always we are so grateful to live in this vibrant city that truly is #HoustonStrong.

Family Fun
Families in search of New Year’s Day/Eve activities, look no further:
- Zoo Lights at the Houston Zoo will run through January 14 and is open both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
- The Children’s Museum of Houston is hosting its annual Rockin’ New Year’s Noon Bash, the city’s longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids
- Head downtown for New Year’s Eve at the Houston Aquarium that includes a balloon drop and a dance party
New Year’s Eve at City Centre
Head out to City Centre Houston for Noon Year’s Eve or New Year’s Eve celebrations. If the kids are along, you’ll enjoy Noon Year’s Eve starting at 11 a.m. complete with music, face painting and more. If you’ve got a sitter, the New Year’s Eve celebration begins at 9:30 p.m. Enjoy an evening of music, plus the midnight fireworks show.
