Some of our favorite new appliances in our showroom are from the Bosch Benchmark series. This young series is just a few years old, and has already developed a loyal following of fans who love features like ultra-quiet cycles on the dishwasher, side-hinge doors on ovens, and a “flex convection” oven cooktop.
Luxury + Performance
The Benchmark Series is for the consumer looking for top-of-the-line, luxury appliances at a competitive price point compared to other well-known luxury brands. The Benchmark series includes wall ovens (single and double), combination steam-convection and speed-convection ovens, cooktops and ranges, refrigeration, and dishwashers.
Features We Love: Bosch Benchmark Series Dishwashers
Bosch Benchmark Series dishwashers are some of the very best on the market, with practical “extras” like integrated interior lighting, built-in water softening systems, and ultra-quiet noise settings. We’re also fans of the available color LCD displays and the super-cool TimeLight feature which beams a countdown clock onto the floor. And don’t even get us started about that incredible third rack option with folding lines! The height-adjustable “RackMatic” upper racks—including that flexible third rack—make Bosch Benchmark Series dishwashers a competitive option against similarly-priced, and even more expensive models.
Features We Love: Bosch Benchmark Series Wall Ovens
A side-swing oven door might not seem like a revolutionary idea, but it’s often small changes that make a big difference. For example, it’s much easier to pull a heavy Thanksgiving turkey or family-sized lasagna out of the oven without having to lean over a door. Side-swing oven doors can also be a space-saver in certain types of kitchen layouts.
We’re also enamored of the combination steam-convection and speed-convection options in the Bosch Benchmark Series. Long popular in Europe, the added flexibility and health benefits of steam/convection cooking is great news for American consumers.
