Social media is such a great way to share design ideas and find new inspiration. Here at Cabinets & Designs, we love using social media to connect with our clients and potential clients; have you liked our Facebook page, followed us on Twitter, and checked out our YouTube channel? We love to hear from you via these channels to answer your design and renovation questions, and to share information with you about what is going on in the industry, as well as in our showroom.
In an effort to connect with you further, Cabinets & Designs is expanding our social media reach with two new platforms: Houzz and Pinterest. We have mentioned Houzz on our blog before, but let’s take a look at both of these platforms and how we are using them to better serve our clients.
Houzz
From finding inspiration to finding professionals to do the work, Houzz is the premier online platform for home remodeling and design. We love the way Houzz truly interconnects all aspects of home design—professionals and design enthusiasts, homeowners and renters, inspiration and product information/reviews—to give users a 360-degree view of remodeling.
One of our favorite features on the Houzz website is the ability to divide sections using folders, one for each room of your home, and add photos that you can share with your designer, architect, remodeler, friends, and family. The versatility allows you to easily share and move information from within your account.
The intuitive website design is, in and of itself, indicative of the utility of Houzz for an online design destination. Visit Cabinets & Designs on Houzz here.
Pinterest is a content sharing service that allows you, the user, to share (“pin”) images to virtual pinboards. “Organize and share the things you love,” is the aim of Pinterest, and you can organize your favorite images and videos into categories like Animals, DIY & Craft, Design, Home Décor, Products, and more.

Of course there is no substitution for a visit to our showroom! We hope you will connect with us online, but we also encourage you to stop in, see our showroom, and meet our staff to discuss your design needs.
