• Bring measurements of your room(s) when you meet with the designer: Having measurements will allow a designer to quickly and efficiently sort what’s possible from what is not possible, given the parameters of the space.

• Bring your favorite design inspirations to show the designer: Understanding your tastes will help your designer tailor the aesthetics of a room, instead of wasting time on colors, patterns, and styles that don’t suit you.

• Good prep work saves time: Ready the room(s) set for remodeling by removing sensitive electronic equipment, cleaning out drawers, cupboards, and cabinets, and any other tasks you can think of that will save the work crew time once they are ready to start demolition.
