Sugarland Home Show Highlights

We’d like to thank everyone that came out for the Sugarland Home & Garden Show this past weekend.  We were lucky enough to have a prime location near the entrance.  On Saturday over 2,000 guests attended the show and on Sunday, 1,500 guests.  

Cabinets & Designs proudly showcased our new door samples including metallic finishes, knotty alder, and an artisan crackle finish.  Wood-Mode’s DVD played featuring the history of the company, how the cabinets were made, and different themes from traditional to contemporary.  We also had our design software, Chief Architect, running to show floor plans and perspectives of recent and upcoming projects. 

Also on display was a Zirconium Silestone countertop and samples of their other 65 colors.  We provided literature on the Sensa Granite and Eco lines as well.  Unfortunately we could not bring out samples of Cosentino’s Prexury line, made from semi-precious materials; however you can see all 12 stunning samples in our showroom.

The designers spoke with potential clients about our two cabinetry lines, Wood-Mode and Brookhaven.  Our collage boards that feature Wood-Mode design themes were steadily flipped through for design inspiration.  The boards present different floor plans with a variety of cabinet finishes and door styles mixed to create two-tone looks that are very popular this year.  For more design trends for 2011 check out our 2011 Trend Predictions Newsletter.
